What I offer?
My lessons on the BASICS OF PIANO is designed to introduce your child to music and piano in a fun and informative way, by allowing them to learn pieces that they love, while also keeping the cost budget-friendly. I understand that committing to an activity can be difficult, and paying premium for something that you are not sure your child will continue with can be expensive. That is why my lessons are the best solution. I make it simple and fun by INTRODUCING your child to music to help them, while also charging a reasonable fee for my service (Check out fees on my PRICING page)
If after my lessons, you and your child wish to continue their piano journey, I can recommend professional piano teachers to you that I have personally been taught by.
My Goal
I believe that the true key to being passionate about playing piano is playing pieces that you enjoy, which is why I allow every child to work on at least one piece that they enjoy, regardless of the genre, on top of their regular reportoire to ensure that piano is something that they look forward to practicing. My goal is for my students to feel the desire to enhance their skills in order to better be able to perform the pieces they love!
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Zoe Ogra, a 15-year-old who has been classically trained in piano and music theory for over 10 years. I have competed twice in the Scale Olympics, a state-wide competition, and have gotten the highest possible ranking both times, as well as helping our team take home the 1st place trophy for the 2022 competition! I have been a National Winner of the NGPT (National Guild of Piano Teachers) for all 9 years of participation, and have won the “All C’s” trophy twice, meaning that I made no mistakes during the audition.
I strive to make the environment a fun learning place for all, so that your child will get the most out of each lesson. I hope for this to be an exciting experience for your child, and I hope they can learn something new!
